Byte-exact lossless compression

Overview
SAAR is HEOSSI's proprietary byte-exact lossless compression engine. It compresses arbitrary byte streams and structured data under one recovery contract: a successful decode reproduces the original input bytes exactly, and a candidate is accepted only after recovery verification. SAAR publishes re-runnable benchmark studies that record corpus, revision, environment, method, encoded sizes, recovery result and limitations, and states where it does not lead. It is offered through a controlled technical evaluation; public package distribution is not enabled yet. Local licences are QNSI-signed across NIST levels 1, 2, 3 and 5. Results are workload-dependent and are not a universal performance claim or independent certification.

What SAAR delivers
- Byte-exact recovery contract: a successful decode reproduces the original bytes exactly
- Candidates accepted only after recovery verification
- Object and stream formats: SAAR v7 and SAST v3, up to 16 MiB per chunk
- 31 measured workload classes with published per-sample evidence
- macOS and Linux native C SDK and CLI
- QNSI-signed local licences across NIST levels 1, 2, 3 and 5
- Published claim boundaries: not encryption, no universal compression win claimed

Deployment
Where it runs
Offered through a controlled technical evaluation. Accepted platforms are macOS and Linux; a Windows serial path exists but has not completed the runtime acceptance matrix. Public package distribution is not enabled yet.
