Acceptable Use Policy

Rules designed to protect customers, third parties, and HEOSSI systems.

Effective and last updated: July 13, 2026

This public policy is a baseline. A signed order form, enterprise agreement, or data-processing agreement may contain additional terms and prevails to the extent of a conflict.

Scope

This policy applies to all access to HEOSSI websites, hosted services, APIs, models, agents, software, documentation, and infrastructure. Customers must ensure their users and systems comply with it.

Prohibited conduct

  • Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, or rights-infringing activity.
  • Malware, phishing, credential theft, unauthorised surveillance, denial-of-service activity, vulnerability exploitation, or access to systems or data without permission.
  • Creating or distributing child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, trafficking content, or content that facilitates violence or self-harm.
  • Using outputs as the sole basis for high-impact decisions about employment, credit, housing, insurance, healthcare, education, policing, or legal rights without qualified human review and legally required safeguards.
  • Defeating safety controls, rate limits, access controls, usage metering, or technical restrictions; reverse engineering except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Processing personal, confidential, regulated, classified, export-controlled, or safety-critical data without authority and appropriate contractual and technical controls.
  • Using the services for weapons, autonomous targeting, unlawful military or intelligence activity, sanctions evasion, prohibited exports, or cryptomining without written authorisation.

Customer responsibilities

  • Use proportionate human oversight, testing, monitoring, access control, and incident response for the risk of the deployment.
  • Obtain all rights, notices, consents, licences, and approvals needed for inputs, instructions, integrations, and outputs.
  • Promptly report suspected abuse or security incidents to security@heossi.com and cooperate with reasonable investigation and remediation.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and restrict or suspend affected access where reasonably necessary to prevent harm, comply with law, or protect the service. Where practicable, we will notify the customer and allow remediation. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination and referral to competent authorities. Appeals may be sent to legal@heossi.com.
